His third EP ‘This Game’, which he recorded with Sean Carey (Thirsty Merc) in October 2015 at Church Street Studios in Sydney. Building on the radio success of the first 2 EPs (‘Gonna Be There’ reaching #27 in the USA) It’s a musical maturation on his first 2 releases, with simpler, but slightly darker themes and stronger vocals, while maintaining the integrity that makes each song so emotionally compelling.

‘Crazy To Love’, ‘Don’t Worry’ and ‘Don’t Ever Go’ are tributes to his long term girlfriend in New Zealand, Rachel, about mutual understanding, the joy of of coming back together, and the pain of separating, respectively. ‘Final Goodbye’ is a tribute to one of his biggest fans who died of liver cancer a few months before the CD was recorded. ‘This Game’ and ‘The Time is Now’ reveal varying aspects of being an emergency doctor. Both good and bad. But more bad.

Victor was in a rock band at school and university, covering artists such as Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Pearl Jam, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. More recent likings for Jack Johnson and David Gray are also evident in his songs, and are responsible for the mellow elements to them. His passion for salsa dancing comes through in ‘This Game’, while ‘Final Goodbye’ is technically a waltz. We’re sure fans of all of those artists and genres will identify with all the songs on this must-hear EP.
